I'm looking at a stage 2 set from Jim Mock Motorsports but am just wondering is.modding the cams worth while or should I just replace it with a standard one. I'm looking at about 400rwkw when the Ute is put back together and tuned...

Come to think of it I can't remember the last build I read that they changed cams. Just get standard and save the money for the 400kw mods

I also know people change cams when the stock computer can no longer keep up with the VCT changes required. Cams at 400 will just use more fuel IMO. Cams are mainly for top end power increases and you will loose low down response if just just changing cams without head work as well.
