I liked the cashmere option with grey but after seeing one forsale with 70kms on it with all the stitching etc and center arm rest black soaked into it and everwhere it was touched I went white with black...

interesting post above as I didnt know white with cashmere was allowed... pretty special order imo...

You can have any external colour you want with cashmere. Most dealers don't have any with that interior as most of the ones they sell are with the black leather. The dealer had to find a second hand one to show me the cashmere.

It would be good to find a dealer with a new one in cashmere and a used one in cashmere to see how much the dirt makes it fade...

man id go the velvet with the cashmere leather..best colour combo for a g6 any day..any colour is easy to keep clean so long as you look after it and use good cleaning products.

with exterior dark colours the best option if you have no marks is to make sure everytime you wash the car to use a new sponge and never use it when dirt has penetrated through it..also use a top quality chamois ( always chamois after a wash ). also try hadn polishing products before using the buff option cuts out the light swirls and scratches caused by the pads..

Still very happy with the cashmere and would not hesitate to get this again.

(What pisses me off is you dont get the option to go cashmere in the FPV range. Would love a Winter white with Cashmere GT-E next.)

I'm sure if you asked it could be arranged, especially for the F6E and GT-E which are the equivalent FPV cars. The basics for the FPV are the same as the normal Ford's so I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for FPV to source the cashmere interior for you.

For example, if you told a dealer you're gonna walk if they can't give you an F6E in cashmere, I'm pretty sure they'd try to sort it out for you...

Your talking FPV here. I sent them an email asking about this option. (mentioning I drive a G6ET) I am still waiting for a response three months later. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
