The best I've been offered (unofficially) so far is $54,500 drive away by a salesman who wanted me to sign on the day. They're on car sales for about that though so they can definitely go lower once I negotiated. I want to get it at or below the $50K mark if possible though... The best written quote I've got was $56,750 drive away but the guy said he could improve it once I was ready to purchase. $56K is above what I want to spend though, I want it as close to $50K as possible. It's not that I can't afford more, I just don't want to spend more than that.

Drive away price off the MLP for me is $61,xxx but apparently Ford are offering the dealer (and others in Sydney, no idea about other areas) $4,500 in rebates for the G6ET so he was happy to offer $56,500 off the bat. The best unofficial I could get was $54,500 so I'm thinking come sale time I'll struggle to get it below $52,500...Hmmm, maybe I'll have to source myself a Ford employee, haha. I guess they dont have too many IT jobs going in NSW, most would be in Head Office.
