Hey guys,

my iPhone connector in my console for my FG has stopped working, meaning that when I connect it to my iPhone to run through my AUX input it is not being picked up by my car.

Is there a setting that might have been changed or how hard are they to replace if its the actual connection itself that is f*cked.

The phone is pretty new and connects to any other device I have.

Any info would be great as I really don't have time to leave it with a dealer for a day to rectify such a small issue.

Thanks

Another thing you could try is pulling the fuse on the bluetooth circuit to reset the ipod module, as in ignition off - remove fuse - cycle ignition - reinstate fuse - Bob's your mother's brother.

Had to do that occasionally as mine was faulty initially, but was replaced at the next service.

...or could just be a fcked cable if its removed frequently

It's on the fuse panel with all the rest of them mate...just in front of the driver's right shin.

I don't think they are marked so you'll have to see what number it is in your owner's manual. 21 maybe? I'd say it'd be unlikely to resolve your issue but worth a shot I guess.
