Think he mentioned something about a capa stage 5 tune or something, built it up from there. Probably did the adjustments to the tune himself.

Also read it has an x-force twin 2.5" exhaust to answer above exhaust question

So I'm guessing this is a generic tune from capa like freeze said. Then the op's gone and chucked in his own boost controller and adjusted the timing.

Easy way of making power but dunno how safe it would be.

e85, big plenum, big dump, big cooler, big piping ,big injectors AND big boost. doesnt matter how big your turbo is if the rest is choking it. like a racehorse breathing through a straw...

Don't all F6's whether Ba or BF have the same bottom end?

I'm can't really answer how everyone else makes more power on less boost but I guess it's all in the tune. Might be a good idea to just chuck it on a dyno and see how everything is running.

I thought it wasn't till 06/06 they all changed...?

First release BA II Typhoon, only difference was that they only had semi floating small end bearings. Fully floating came with re-released 07 / 2005. That is the only difference in BA/BF Typhoon engines.

Chris the reality is that the differences in output really only come with the dynos. Generally speaking manufacturers figures are pretty spot on,or within 2% of quoted figures. The FG XR6 T is good for 218-222 Rwks in the real world. Cheers

All F6 typhoon and from sep06 BF have the bigger rods in the bottem end guys lol come on this is a xr6turbo forum and nobody knows this?? that funny everybody just seems to listen to tunners rather than know anything in fact.. and also BA BF typhoon only share same rods and valve springs and a oil cooler.. F6 FG have the same rods also..

however BA XR6 turbo rods are the NA rods up untill sep06 and up to FG current model....

BA XR6 turbo on the left

BA F6 typhoon and BF XR6 turbo to current model FPV and XR6 on your right.
