Ba Futura Traction Control Not Disengaging

Hi guys,

got a family wagon BA Futura for a daily, tried turning off the traction control to test its boat drift capabilities and I noticed whilst depressing the switch no ilumination on the dash or sign, so I tested it after the wash, started car pushed button stood on it and still traction control, tried this a few times so my question is, would it be the switch or something more complex? , I would of thought that its switch or button related considering its not lighting up on the dash once I press it because it certainly lights up on engine start up. if its the switch how can I check this and how much are they roughly? if anyone has done one before any ideas.
