If you had $35k to spend to buy a car, what would you get? Which Ford would it be or maybe something completely different (I doubt though)? :P

The reason why I wanted to ask you guys is that I've got roughly $35k budget and I'm looking to get a boosted falcon, hopefully some time this month!

I was thinking of getting 2010 g6e turbo, just because they come with lots of luxury extras and they're damn quick too (they don't look too sporty though)...

I won't be looking to tune it in the next couple of months anyway, the only thing I'd do first to give it more sporty look is to get some nice 19'' rims and tint windows, more serious stuff will need to wait till I save up a bit more.

Do you think g6et is a good choice? Maybe it would be a better option to get one of the FPVs or just standard xr6t with loads of options?

Looking forward to hear your opinion!

house!!!

personally I would save for a GS...a supercharged 8...what more could you want?

that or a FG F6...but im not a real fan of the appearance of the FG ( yes I know the GS is stil in the same shape but,...supercharged 8?)....but in saying that I couldnt justify spending that much on a BF, no matter the KM's and cash poored into it.

It really depends what you want, do get buy without people noticing you or to stand out from the crowd, I chose to stand out from the crowd.

But I made it my mission that after I get my house my next vehicle will be the a brand new charged 8, sad to say Expensive Daewoo or ford!

in conclusion > GS>FG F6>BF F6..and save a fair bit of cash

Depends if you want luxury or performance. If you want luxury then a G6E turbo is what you want. If you want performance then buy an FG XR6. If you really want to go fast then buy a late model BF and spend a bit on it.

You could pick up a pretty clean FG XR6T and get it to about 310 rwkw with that money.. You'd need a bigger turbo to go higher..

Alternatively.. Buy the G6ET.. Move to SA, gut the cat, throw in some drilled injectors and presto 415rwkw..

I would buy an optioned up 2010ish xr6t and spend a little on it, or sure why not save more and get a gs or f6 at 40ish then a few mods and insurance and boom your at 45grand already...if your budget is 35 stick with it

I got my 2010 FG with 5000kms on it and $15k worth of extras (maxxed out small turbo, sound system, wheels) for $33,500.

The deals do come around :)

Used Porsche Boxter.

Upside is you would be able to impress the babes with your upwardly mobileness and your driving glove collection.

Downside is all the dudes either think your an upwardly mobile hairdresser, or that you like the dick.

Or possibly both.
