Looking and deliberating over the big 3.I finally settled on Nizpro. Like DRE I liked the idea of the cross flow effect of their coolersIve had the oppurtunity to see some of the other coolers on the dyno, and one thing I always notice that after acouple of pulls if you placed your hand over the cooler the bottom half was quite warm and the top half still relatively cool.Nizpro will release their data very soon with their back to back testing, I can see it now causing quite a stir so I wont elaborate .I found atleast some sort of explaination was better than ours are better "just because".....But they were the only company that could give me substantial information as to why theirs works. Now right or wrong? Who knows.. And Ill probably never know considering the power level I want to achieve. I doubt I would ever max out any of the big 3 but at the end of the day all I wanted was consistancy. So I guess it will always be each to their own.. but healthy debates like these help spread knowledge that as individuals, require to satisfy our own personal curiositiesBut yeah.. Nizpros throttle body pipe work leaves a little to be desired ....

Need to get the pipe work from the Plazmaman kit to work with it then it would be great.

It works well but at least with the Plazmaman kit you could polish or powder coat it.

Horrid crinkle finish and afew rough edges. Also the silicon pipework does away with alot of the extra connectors with some of the other kits. Its definitely function over form. But anyone looking for a weight saving! look elsewhere !! lol

Donating Members 2,068 Member For: 14y 4m 1d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 12/05/12 02:17 AM Share Posted 12/05/12 02:17 AM Hey,No offence intended for anyone at Nizpro, I am sure that on a technical level the kit is better, I personally prefer the plain simple look that process west and plazmaman have. The polished end tanks look great too, If they had staggered end tanks then that would be my preference. As for piping, well you know how I had my car. shiny stuff everywhere. Kind of hard to do with silicone. The pipes in my car were all the same too, not silicone on one side and plastic on the other, also all the pipes were the same size too, aka the pipe off the turbo in the nizpro kit. I was going to powder coat all of my pipes (sick of shiny) and would like to do that on the next car but can't decide between a functional kit from nizpro OR a powder coated version of what I had.As a reference here's a pic (bit old now but you get the idea
jimmixr Donating Members 686 Member For: 14y 5m 3d Posted 12/05/12 02:30 AM Share Posted 12/05/12 02:30 AM Im happy with the rest of the kit. I went black.. so the real visual thing through the bumper bar isnt a concern for me.Just that throttle body pipe !!! AAARRRGGGHHH !!!Wouldnt really know what else to pick on the kit as a whole ?At the end of the day there will always be two different customer bases. And you can please most but not everyone.Youll have the visual guy and the function guy. Im probably a little of both but function always wins.Should be fitted up in the next couple of weeks , will be able to give more feedback thenCheers
