My tuner did and FG ute recently that came in with a PWR stepped already fitted. They did a GTX and injectors and it went a bees under 400rwkw at 16psi. AIT's were still fine and they reckon it had more left. Back to back runs were within a couple of kW's. Yes I like my PWR but that said, why would you chop the car up if you have no intentions of pushing power past 400? It makes no sense other than wank value IMO.

I agree, should be a warning. I went with the PW stage 2 as this was the intercooler my tuner recommended and used. I wasn't told anything about cutting anything important just a small trim here and there.

^^^ Exactly. I was among the first wave of FG modders too so there wasnt a whole lot of info yet. Come to think of it I think the only cooler options at the time were PW, PWR stock replacement (stepped wasnt out) and Nizpro. I had made enquiries about Nizpro up here with a tuner but they were dirty with them over something to do with the NPIA at the time.
