Hey guys looking at buying a intercooler an a intake/battery relocation kits for my 2011 fg ute, just wondering what you guys recon I'm tossing up between the rapid v.2 kit which comes with the intake, or the process west stage 2 intercooler kit with the same intake. What you guys think ?

Also Plazmaman, if not chasing huge power also PWR stepped cooler as only one that is bolt in no cutting. Plenty guys use it and good for a solid 350rwks. But you having a FG it will run out of puff before that. That's what I will be going for as don't want to cut any of my front to fit s cooler.

IMO the nizpro kits got too much silicon. Obviously it works but if you're silicon ever splits and they stop making those pieces you're in trouble. If youre not planning on keeping the car forever like me that probably wont mean sh*t. The PW and PM stuff both work just as well as the other. I have the PW cooler and pipes and airbox. The airbox is very nice and sounds filthy. The core is very nice and fits like a glove. The pipes were over 700 bucks by themselves (!). If I was buying again though, I would buy the PW core and the Cooler Works pipes. Ive installed two sets of the cooler works pipes in the last month and found them to be easier than the PW stuff with regards to clearing the FG XR6 foglamps. The cooler works pipes are way cheaper, mandrel bent and IMO fit better. Hope that helps.

The Nizpro kits have more silicon which = less joins, less joins = less chances of pipes popping off.

The other advantage of having the silicon means you dont have metal pipes rubbing on anything.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion. Im not trying to push the nizpro product but simply explain why are kits are the way they are.

Do people prefer symetrical endtanks instead of our style? In terms of looks etc?

Another thing to consider is, using metal pipes as much as possible can be very stiff (if the silicon joiners are short) which can transmit engine vibrations through the chassis, using silicon hoses can allow the engine to move without the transmission of vibrations etc

I like the idea of the nizpro, and when I do replace mine that's the cooler I'm getting, til then I'm stuck with the PWR, which works ok
