I test drove another one after that and that one went well like id expect from a FG but that one was a 2008 and I want no later than late 2009 model. Is this something that may change with me driving it harder as the owner is quite elderly or is it destined to be a slow car.

If you reset the car (disconnect battery) it will start learning how you drive again.

So it would be a good buy if it wasnt a dud.

Plus it's nothing a custom tune won't fix. If its as good as you say jump on it, boot it and it will be ok.

tuono Member 312 Member For: 14y 3m 2d Posted 27/03/12 12:43 AM Share Posted 27/03/12 12:43 AM (edited) Why would the old boy buy a turbo and drive it so slow (and use the wrong fuel) so it turned into a slug? Street cred? You can wheel spin a Kombi if you try hard enough. Surely the computer dosent retard it that much? Maybe he disconected the turbo because it scared him on the way to bowls. :biglaugh: My oldman nearly crapped himself when be booted my car. Adding you're interested in buying it but worried there is something wrong with the car.
