Bf Hits Rev Limiter In Auto Mode?

Sorry if this has been answered here but I'm having trouble finding the answer and have been looking for days.

I have a BF Turbo with about 300kw at the wheels. I don't have this problem with traction control on, but if I turn traction control off and put the foot to the floor as soon as the wheels start to spin it feels as if there is a cut in the power or I hit the rev limiter I'm not quite sure. I feel a bit of a thump and of course take my foot off the accelerator straight away. It only happens when I give it full throttle.

Does anyone know the issue? I have tried it in drive and in performance mode with the same result. But with traction control on, it doesn't happen. She pulls so much harder with traction control off, but its frustrating trying to judge how much you can push down on the pedal without getting that thump and loss of power, and it doesn't sound too good for the car.

I had the same problem with my BF when it was around 300kw. Was hitting the rev limiter in 1st and second. I just took it back to my tuner and he bumped the rev limiter up to 6200rpm and that stopped it.
