Thanks mate, yea I think people will really love the front bar, or hate it. Will grow on people over time, as things seem to do.

Well that's the look planned, how close I get to that is another matter :)

Yea well the best thing I think you can do with the front bar is try and blend or match in other features of the car to make it less in your face. Ie the dark tint, and gunmetal grey wheels. Black and white can work well together when one doesn't over power the other!

I really hope your car turns out just how you want it to. After 4 weeks of looking at mine every morning I can say that from some angles I think the MkII is gorgeous, & from others....... Maybe a little more time still. :)

Small update.

At this stage, there is no chance of my car getting here any earlier, early may is still all my local dealer can give me. SO fingers crossed that its 3 weeks away max :D

I have however already starting getting a few bits and peices which include..

Chair leg rubbers & clamps... tutututu

King Springs SSL fronts with SSSL rears.

*Shocks pending

K&N filter

Some new leather care products and various other detailing bits and peices.

and also one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/330718032576?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 it's the 4" intake pipe which replaces the stock 3" muffler cone. Thoughts?

I Have a couple of question's also. I entend on blocking the BOV for the extra "coolness" which follows, and the fact that a stock standard 6T hasn't quite got the "wow" factor my VZ ute with 230/232 cam had..

But I have seen quite a few cars, with the BOV removed completely? What have they done with the vac line? Before anyone says, yes I have read the BOV threads and im quite aware of how to block it off, but why have it on there at all and not just block the hole on the cold side intake where the BOV is connected?

Im also getting mixed responses on suspension.. I was originally going with Coilovers, but have since decieded not to as for what I'll be using the car for I think it's overkill.

In the suspension threads, there are quite a few people running stock shocks with their lowered springs with no hassles (Unless the car is full) and others running an aftermarket shock, id be looking at going for a koni or similar shock, but I mean, is it really essential in a brand new car?

Those mods are next to nothing, which im quite aware of but it will do me for the first 5000km's then the fun will begin :)

Oh and for the NSW guys, does anyone use CHE ( Castle Hill Exhaust ) as their tuner? I used them on all my previous cars but cant seem to find much feedback on them on here.

Good to have an update from you mate.

As for your questions, I haven't been around long enough to know the answers to that, haha ;)

I've read of a couple of people using CHE to fit their exhaust and such mods but I can't remember a single person using them as their tuner.

Haha no worries mate, im only asking as im still new to the turbo engines.

Yea, that's about all I seem to be able to find, I live about 5 hrs from sydney, and CHE were getting outstanding reveiws from almost every Expensive Daewoo forum I was a member on and I was extremely happy with the work they did on my LS engine. But in saying that, they may not be as good as others on the 6T's which is why I thought I would ask..

Popular Sydney ones are Tunehouse, CV, Autotech, BTA I think is another one. A lot of the good Ford places generally don't do much Expensive Daewoo work so CHE is probably the same, good with Expensive Daewoo but average with Ford.
