Afternoon Everyone

Just a bit of an update really, Posted my previous ride and introduced my self in members rides last month

http://www.fordxr6tu...m-the-dark-side

Since then ive enquired about multiple vehicles, and was approached by Boosted1 to purchase his power hungry xr6t ute!

After weighing up my options, Buying something from out of state, with such substantial mod's was going to be a pain to gets passed a nsw Blue Slip without reverting back to stock, or getting everything engineered prior to registration in NSW.

After my boss over heard my predicament and frustration with trying to find something I was going to be happy with, he did me a deal on a new FG Turbo which I just couldnt refuse ( I work at hertz car rental's, and we have a remarkably strong buying power when it comes to new vehicles )

This past week, a 2012 plated, FG MKII Turbo Sedan 6spd manual in White, with luxury pack, tint, and a few other optional extras, has been put on oder with expected delivery early may *fingers crossed*

Couldn't be happier, although the front bar on the new FG has taken alot to grow on me!

Depending on when I take delivery, I should already have some mods ready to be done once it reaches the shed at work :) which will include:

Coilovers - Pedders? But also keen on other options?

Sway Bar

Turbo Back Exhaust - X-Force? Never had any issues with them in terms of fitting or quality.

Then I think ill just enjoy it for a few thousand km's until I touch the engine:

Cooler upgrade

CAI and battery relocation

F6 or Bigger turbo

Injectors

Fuel Pump

Surge Tank

Tune

Once again, im only new to everything with a blue badge, but ill be aiming for 350+rwkw to begin with, Research tell's me that's about all I can get from the standard turbo without upgrading to a F6 turbo or aftermarket etc?

I must say these 19'" wheels that come in the luxury pack are very similar to HSV PENTAGONS...

WIll keep this thread updated :)

Awaiting mine through insurance too.. Also looking at white with luxury pack. Wrote off my xr50 turbo few weeks back, now insurance is replacing it with brand new mk11!! Including the 400hp tune!

Serious? You must be happy with that!

I had a little play around in photoshop this afternoon. lowered, tint, spoiler removal, darkend wheels, and a custom front grill insert. Also toying with the idea of custom plates...

Nah just lowered with the stock 18s, any chance doing a MK 2 G6ET front as looking at doing a conversion to the ute. 99% sure I want to do it, just would like to see how it looks. Thanks champ.
