Might be proven wrong which I hope I am...Track car sounds good or just park it until you get your license back?

Last time I went to court I was disqualified for 2 years. So it will probably be longer this time. Don't really want to store it for that long. And even if I did. How long do you think it would take me to lose my licence again if I drive it on the street?
old_mate Member 767 Member For: 19y 24d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 10/12/12 03:20 PM Share Posted 10/12/12 03:20 PM with some less right foot - as long as you want I suppose.problem is with track car is you'll soon want something stiffer, lighter that handles better and would probably cost a bit less in maintenance (think non complianced EVO, WRX, Skyline and so on). If drag racing, throw in a 3 speed with a converter, and let the f*cker ripI'd think about parting it out as well. Recoup some of your hard earned.Best of Luck.

As it stands the car owes me over $50k that's why I don't want to sell itHmm got a lot of thinking to do over the next 3 months.

If so I would suggest you get a lawyer cause there is possibility of jail time. I had a lawyer and was given a 6 month suspended sentence and a good behaviour bond of 2 years. They restart the 2 years for the disqualification. The scary thing is you can't do anything wrong at not even drunk in public as that is seen as breaking the law and instantly take you to jail. It scared me straight I can tell you Hope it all works out for you

No chance of a conditional either so I hope that doesn't really screw you for work. Don't think it was your daily so if thinking about risking it again you've got a young family, so think of that if tempted. With the car, I'd part it out and move on. No offence, but some people can't handle the responsibilty that comes with a car with this sort of power, on the street. I still struggle sometimes as a 45yo, but I'm not a total goose like I was at 25 - 30. I just wait for happy laps, powercruise and the like now. Buy a diesel hilux (I had a Navara for a while) until you can learn some self control, lol. You're a good bloke mate that made a mistake. I wish you all the best

The prosecutor wanted the judge to give me a suspended sentence last time round but the judge let me off with a $1200 fine and 2 years disqualified. As for the work I'm just going to have to employ a driver for 2-3 days a week to service my vending machines.Suspended sentence or jail term, either way I think it's the wakeup call I needed to settle down and think more about my family and simply farking grow up.
