hi guys I have just baught a BA XR6T and was wondering is yous could help with a fuew quick qusetions. first off I have a cappa flash tune with 3 tunes on it standard, 8psi and a 10pis tune. my car is running ate 8psi tune now but was told I have to use a higher octane to run the 10pis tune. I already run 98 will 98 be ok or do I need a octain booster.

also does anyone know how to fix the handbreaks. its a manual and is a pain with out it.

98 is fine,, its the generic tunes that are rubbish

Give David at KPM a call and ask him what he suggests. Best talking to the tuner that supplied the flash tuner. I'd guess 98 will be fine.

As for your handbrake it most probably needs adjusting, which to do it properly is probably going to require removing the rear wheels and brakes etc to adjust at the shoes.

What Benny said, or as we found on my sedan, just needed the nut tightened in the centre under the car. Was loose as all hell.

I don't think many people run turbo timers, it's not really needed on these cars.

If you do go hard enough to need it, just let it idle for a while before switching off. If you're at home or in a secured location just pop the bonnet and leave it up for a while.
