Also in a GT-R, cos the block is taller there are heaps of clearance issues. New, custom dump and front pipes and plenty of machining involved. He has deep pockets though.

The motor has already been built and then spun a bearing in when I started it one day so it was either something I got wrong or there were other issues. I'm just hopping that it didn't do too much damage as all pistons and other bits and pieces only had about 2000km on them. I've got a mate with a second hand motor ready that I'm going to use for the build so all I really need is someone to do the machine work and labor. Also put an N1 oil pump. The car actually let go when I started it one morning to move it out of the driveway so it's got me f*cked what happened. The car still starts but has extremely loud bottom end noise. Same as the 1st time I spun a bearing. My main concern was the head too which I know is about $1000 for a freshen up.It's gunmetal grey 89. Let me see if I can find some pics.
