Car is booked in next Wednesday for a custom 4" cat back in S/S and on Thursday it's off to Autotech for valve springs, new harmonic balancer and tunes. Time to see what the real potential of this 6235 is like

Had the new cat back exhaust put on today. Windsor Exhaust 4" stainless custom system with x-force mufflers. Will try and get pics if it goes on the hoist tomorrow

470 is the new 350 isn't it? very nice

Grabed the same gauge setup from topend when I saw them on page 1 willo and was wondering how easy they are to install

All he sent me were pics so not real sure on a few things

Any advice, hints, tricks ??

Pretty much! Gotta keep up doc.

Gauges are a little tricky. Got more info from AFF in regards to ICC removal. Tapped the power and lighting from behind the instrument cluster. Ran the wires up the right hand side of the ICC (you'll know why when you see it). Any questions just shoot us a PM

Well most of you probably know the results but here they are again, this time with sheets below. Had the Autotech valve springs installed along with a new harmonic balancer as mine was shagged.

After driving it I quickly realized how restrictive the stock cat back was all through the rev range and the difference the valve springs make up top...just feels so much stronger now.

New poo chute

Had some sound deadener lying around and started to line the boot area....4" exhaust is loud

Had some decent sized flames coming out the pipe on e85...will have to get a video next time.

Now it's off to WSID to chase some times. Been ages since I've last been and no doubt the nerves will get to me as they always do haha keen to see what MPH we can get.

19psi for the 98 and not sure about the e85. Low 20's though I reckon....I could use my boost gauge to find out but for now I'm kept busy at the wheel at full noise ;)
