Just wondering whats the best product you can use to remove brake

dust from around the alloy wheels and the wheel nuts.

I don't want the remove the wheels every time just to clean them 100%.

I'm refering to the area in and around the wheel nuts.

Once cleaned, is there any product that can be used to ensure that the

brake dust can be removed easily ?

Daniel

at self serve car washes, youl find a lot of them have a chemical you put on them and you leave it sit for about 2 mins, then wash it off. It worked on ours.

I used to have a 5 series BMW and they used to have black front mags by the end of the day.

I used BMW mag cleaner which I had left over from the car.

Its the best and cheapest I have used. It about $40 for 5 litres at BMW but you wont use much.

Wet the wheels

Spray on BMW wheel cleaner

wait a few mins

spray off

Clean wheels normally with a different spong to the rest of the car.

BTW dont tell anyone you are using a German product on your Ford.....
