Hey Guys,

Been looking for some new shoes and thought about doing convo pros for something different. ive only seen one in SA with them and it hasnt been hitting the streets much.

Anyways my question was how can I fit them on my BF turbo if they only come in a 15" rim size as im fairly sure a 17" minimum is needed to clear the brakes.

And what is the widest rim/tyre u can put on the front and back without it scraping on the inside guard? My car is standard height for now. I dont plan on lowering it until after the rims go on.

any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Don't be a *beep*, help the fella out lol.

Look up stainos profile n open topics he started. He's got one up for the tray with some info about what he did for the convos

You 1st things 1st.

Get a plasma gun and cut out the back seats and boot. If you have a ute do it anyway.

Staino will then build you his custom tray.

Only then should you go and look at his thread.

Easiest way.

Rears, 8.5" with 5" backspace may fit in the guards but I cant say for sure, or if they will foul on your springs. (most likely not) also depending on tyre choice.

Providing you only have the factory brakes they will clear the calipers. (Brembos dont even try)

If your after deep dish like mine (3 3/8" backspace) you will need to shorten your diff around 180mm or do some serious guard pumping lol. 80mm each side.

Fronts, you need to downgrade calipers and rotors to BA spec or NA spec, ie 298mm rotors. 6" with 3 3/8" backspace sits spot on in the guards on my fg.

I wish I was around when I was trying to do this :spoton:

If I had my time again I would go THIS: with 15" rears and 17" fronts.

p.s. now go away
