Hey Guys,

As Matty has said it was a poor night for me as my throttle body hose kept popping off whilst stalling up. I had 4 tries and then packed it up.

When I got home I took the pipe off and cleaned the inside and bolted it back on and went out for a hit and it held fine.

I must have been thinking in my sleep cause when I woke up I decided to check my engine mounts and there it was, mangled and it had broken the straps aswell.

So should be good to go once the mount is replaced.

Very disappointing night as the track was extremely grippy.

Veva, 11.3@128 is an awesome time, can only wonder what et you would have achieved if your car had no issues as the MPH would have climbed later in the night when the temps dropped.

XRFOOL, good job mate but I still think theres more in your car as MPH should be higher for the power it makes.

It was good catching up with everyone and I hope when we go out again we have a trouble free night.

How awesome was the track last night, if any you high powered taxis wanted 10's on street tyres you had your chance

Me however with the hay hauler finally got into the 11 sec bracket

60'-------2.086

1/4-----11.895

MPH---113.85

Good job mate!

Good seeing a decent amount of fords out there on the night!

I got a video of your second run veva, 11.5 I think, I was waiting for the 10 :P Looks so quick when the boost kicks in though.

Let me know if you want it uploaded anyway.

And rednose, I kept expecting your car to fly, I didn't realise you were off the forums. Every time you staged I would tell my missus next to me to watch this, only to be let down :P Hope you get it all fixed for next time!

Thanks mate, the only thing that flew for me was the pipe off the throttle body...lol

I had that problem, got better clamps and changed to a diff silicone hose.

Mine was coming off on the street, the night before I went to Calder, it was a real bitch.

Not the best nigth guys.

George (Rednose) kept blowing his throttle body hose off each run so 15's for him all night.

I had boost cut big time between shifts so I was essentially headbutting my visor on each shift but still managed an 11.3 at 128.5mph!

Now the track was the grippiest I have ever seen it, I had zero wheel spin and I was on street tyres, this is another reason why I was so dirty with the boost cut cause if it wasn't there then a 10 was a very real possibility!

So we will all do the NO Rain dance and see if it holds out for a week and if so we'll al be back bigger and better and that 10 will be mine!

Hey Matt, how much boost r u running??? :sungum:

hairspray readnose! , the mount prob contributed to the pipe off as the motor would have been moving alot more

motor got its replacement Valvespings (6 EXH was at 45 seated , others 90), now I got 120 seated!

still deciding on turbo
