My second xr, the tow bar was done at the dealers and the cut out looks like it was done by a first year apprentice and used a hack saw blade to cut it out. Has anyone had their tow bar fitted post factory and ended up with a good cut out. I dont know why ford didnt put the pre cut removable one like the sedans as most utes I think get tow bars fitted. Really look like its been cut by a blunt hacksaw! Really not good enough for a 50k car IMO...

Guest Basher_tsv Guests Posted 08/01/04 11:49 PM Share Posted 08/01/04 11:49 PM I had the heavy duty t/bar fitted by the dealer and I agree igsta .. an absolute balls up. Am not very happy with it at all and am now in the process of finding something to patch it up and make it look half decent ... perhaps a S.S. folded sheet rectangle that slots into the opening? Any suggestions?
