He's a bit electrically minded though. He just told me (mind you au is different to b series n beyond as b series have a board n need to solder to the board etc) he took off the plastic cover of the switches, spring and rocker arm. He replaced with led and resistor to limit the power it gives. Power it up, if it doesn't work take out the led and resistor n reverse the way it went in.Should be pretty easy still to do the job. I remember either reading on here or AFF someone replaced the lights and put a red led in the child lock position on the drivers door. With the headlights on and once rear windows are child locked the red light come on. Pretty cool how it worked out. But I'm no electrical smarty so don't quiz me on what stuff to get from dick smith or where ever lol. Wouldn't mind doing it to my next car though Good luck n keep us posted on how u go. If all works out post up a how to (get pics along the way )Lol! Just seen the thread that tells you how to do all that I just mentioned hahah...
