Hi All,

I have a space to bolt on the tow bar at the rear of my BA (tow bar is in the boot and came with the car when purchased) as per photo, however there is no fitting it appears for the electrical plug for the trailer lights. Does anyone know where is it or if there is a special fitting I need to buy or install?

my turbo has the wiring for the trailer plug in the harness under the rh side tail light, you have to pull up the carpet and remove the liner on the side of the boot to get at it

I bought mine from eBay Gaz.

It was $70 delivered from a seller called adelaideparts.

Edit: It was a genuine bf sedan towbar wiring loom with reverse sensor and 12 pin plug.

I'm not sure if that's what you mean?

Thanks Puff.  I'm after the actual mating plug for the existing socket circled.  The 2 pins supply 12V DC (actually 11V measured) and I'm planning on hooking it up to a Cig Lighter socket so I can provide a Cig Lighter socket in the boot for things that need 12V DC power.  I found its always ON so I'll put a switch in-line as well.

Went to Ford, Repco, Jaycar and Altronics and none have the plug.  They all suggested I visit a wreckers and cut off the plug from a towbar loom that plugs into it.
