Hey guys..

Relocated the battery to the opposite side fo the engine bay yesterday and as a result, have lost my A/C.. it wont cool at all.

Has anyone come across this previously or have any idea as to why my A/C has shat itself??

some background being we extended the battery leads and it wasnt a PW or plazmaman kit that was used.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Cheers,

Troy

Wasnt there a reset procedure for the AC something to do with it going into. Start the car,With the car idleing set the AC to normal and let it sit still (do not rev the engine at all) for 2 mins, apparently this is the norm after a battery has been replace/disconnected. If the above doesnt work, disconnect the battery for 10 mins retry the procedure.

To come to think of it, a couple of times I have picked my car up from the tuners the air cond hasnt worked straight away. I know the battery would have gone flat. But after 10 - 15 mins of driving or restarting the car it was fine.

It has nothing to do with volt drop

Mine did it the other week when I'd been messing around, I checked fuses and unplugged the AC compressor just checking connections, on the side of the road as it was a stinking hot day. Just doing that fixed it, hasn't played up since.

I found my AC not working after my tune, while on a long drive north, had been trying to run it for an hour. Called up XFT and was advised to turn car off, on, start AC and sit still until it kicks in after a minute or two. Has been fine after that, including battery disconnects.
