Have you thought about the valve springs?Otherwise a rod my be bent (usually hear a tapping sound) or your piston rings gone. Maybe get a compression and leak down test done before pulling your motor out.First thing get the pcv valve checked or replaced, they are cheap. KeddyXR6T Donating Members 320 Member For: 15y 10m 11d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 13/03/12 04:19 PM Author Share Posted 13/03/12 04:19 PM So I went and seen Adam down at FTG wreckers (great place helpful dude) grabbed a PCV valve and a new breather tube cause the bend that fits to the rocker cover is worn I'll be flat out the rest of this week and weekend with the grand prix in town but the second I fit it I will let you all know if it solves the problem or if I'm off to do the dreaded compression test so wish me luck and thanks again guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
