Great to know you guys like the plug in loom. It will be easy to install and remove from the vehicle without any tell tale signs. :banghead:

Turboute – The PHASE III System (which incorporates the PHASE II System) has the boost pressure controlled through the Unichip computer. This way the ignition timing and air fuel mixtures are always optimum against turbo boost pressure across the entire RPM range.

The problem is with in car boost controllers, the moment the turbo pressure is altered, the ignition timing and air fuel ratios are compromised. This is very dangerous and can lead to expensive engine damage through continued detonation. :hohoho:

We will appoint some new APS dealers in Perth very soon (currently under investigation) so I am confident we can assist you in the near future.

I remember asking if such a system - the plug in loom - could be made! well anyway, that's what I've been looking for....this way you could fit an APS stage II kit and just disconnect the unichip for servicing, so your warrenty isn't affected!!!!

how's things Dave ??

it's a stressful way to have a relationship with your dealer

reckon you might be better off just getting in the passenger side footwell ... out of sight out of mind ... the dealer can't easily tell it is there ... the performance is a give-away though ... :kissmy:

As per Falchoon's comment I am interested in the ways the interceptor can be wired.

I have seen how it is done near the box under the bonnet, but hbehind the dash sounds much more stealth and far more appealing.

Your thoughts please

your right behind the dash would be better. mine got busted because they noticed the wiring. well that's what they said to me. they were saying I need to put the standard computer back in, indicating to me they hadnt seen the uni chip.

I'm with Geeseman!

My car is under lease and a stage 1 kit would be great for the extra punch and more importantly fuel economy.. a plug-in solution would also mean I can have you guys move it to the new baby when I role over the car as part of the lease...

Cheers,

Miyagi

If all goes to plan, the Unichip with plug in adapter / loom assembly should be in production by late January and on sale by mid to late February. We have been testing the plug in looms since October. - Not far away from engineerng sign off now.

Have a great Xmas break.

Peter,

Is there a price rise with the new new plug in version or will it still be $1650 fitted.

Thanks

Cameron

Cameron,

I won't discuss pricing until we have completed the first production build of the product. Though I can say this much - The new price structure will give our competitors something to think about for a while. ;) We will be particularly agressive to ensure Unichip stays the no1 choice of XR6 turbo enthusiasts.

If we can move big numbers of the product, this will assist APS to achieve the most cost effective production, which in turn will reflect in pricing.

2004 will be a very interesting year for XR6 turbo enthusiasts. :hiwelcome:
