Hey looking at getting a surge tank that's good for 1000hp+ was going to go the x2 Bosch 044 pumps and plazamaman surge tank set up but noticed one of rapids modified plazmamans surge tanks that comes with a Aeromotive A1000 Fuel pump good for 1000hp don’t really know much about this fuel pump would this be the better way to go instead of having 2 bosch 044 or is it the same?

Cheer, Niko

that pump is terrible. I had one soon as you make it pump a decent amount of pressure the flow turns to sh*t, 2x044's is FAR better.

what fuel are you using??? 1000hp so im guessing its not pump? if its e85 you will need more than 2

Just about to fit an aeromotive plazmaman surge as well. Went for this over the twin 44s more to do from a safety point, read somewhere on the forum about potential danger if you have one 44 fail and don't notice until you wind it up. Safer to have your car not running at all from a pump failure than 1/2 running and leaning out.

I've done 8000 ks on my A1000! Plus I've just added a PW FG fuel rail, Turbo Smart 1200 FR fuel reg, American brand Fuel pressure gauge, Speedflow (black 14 in total) connections, and 2.5 meters of teflon braid!

Bring on the boost and power I say!

what injectors are you using veva? how much power do you expect to make and what made you buy a dual feed rail?

Still using 80lb dekas but have the option of some ID's if I need them, on E85 looking at going well over 450+!

re the rail just felt like finishing off the complete fuel system with the dual entry, reg, gauge and E85 compliant lines!

The A1000 surge combo has been faultless from day one and to be honest I reckon it's even more quite than a single 044!
