hey guys, looking at doing abit of work to my XR6T and im stuck on fuel pump options?

power will be around the 300-330rwkw mark (keep it around 300, stock box).

ive been looking at the process west under car surge tank and bosch 044 pump almost $1200 later but this is the perfect setup for me I guess.

If u just get the walbro intank, I will get the surge problem and will have to keep the tank over half full yeh?

if I just get the 044 under car on its own, what will happen here?

I dont want to be filling my car every half tank, what setups are you guys running? cheers!

Hi mate

I have got walbro intank pump, in mine with 300 at the wheels slightly surging I always filled up when 15 liters left in the tank its alright do this if your just cruising the car with out squirting it.

Now I got more power recently installed PW Surge Tank 044 Bosch Pump :) no surgeing at all and running low on the tank as well :newrussian:

I am still running the factory pump, to a twin feed twin 044 PW setup and no surging, the factory pump keeps the surge full, not had any dramas with it yet fingers crossed. Single 044 surge will suit you down to the ground and if you ever decide to take it further you can buy the parts and make it a twin pump surge, the ports are all there ready to go, upgrade your wiring and away you go.
