The battery in the boot Is the cheapest option, just make sure you use really good cables or it will be a pig to start.

The next best option is a PW kit in the front bumper. A bit pricey and always comes with the wrong f*cking terminal which is bullsh*t.

As for the intake, you would be able to do it yourself mate.

Battery relo's aren't the cheapest. Theres a kit I think from Rapid that relocates the battery to the boot, for ~250$ ish, this was a while ago dunno if he still does them, check out his website, he is a site sponsor..

Turbo side intake, theres a few that do them, but also can be expensive.. As henz said with a bit of piping etc.. you can do it yourself for ~100$, more for a decent filter and to box it up..

pw turbo side intake partnered with a plaz battery relocation to the other side...this is what I have on my fg with a pw stage 2 cooler and it fits a treat, but I have heard its a snug fit with the pw stage 3 cooler as they have a bigger cold side piping... this was in the fitting stage so its not complete but you get the idea

you can make a intake using the stock plastic pipe off the turbo if you cut it up and join it with some silicone joiners....but you dont get the sound of alloy piping...

Where abouts are you mate? JD Custom in mornington does an airbox/pipe setup pretty cheap if you re-locate the battery yourself.

I relocated my battery on monday

5m welders cable 100

Battery box 22

Earth lead 15

Terminals and lugs 30

Took about an hour and a half and used standard battery starts perfectly, il be fitting a plazmaman 4" intake in a week.... Keep your earth cable as short as possible and run the Positive cable from starter motor to boot then cut the original positive terminal off and fit a lug and mount it to the fusebox, piece of piss

Its a 6" Pod and a 4" pipe to the turbo. Not sure on price as I got mine as a package, might have to give them a ring. I've got some pictures if you want to have a look.
