Is a boot install legal? Not that it matters as half my mods would be deemed illegal! But insurance wise?

Also where would I find parts needed?

Depends on your insurance and if its listed. Some allow certain things, others will only include items approved by your states rta.

Could always get it engineered.

Or maybe use the process west battery kit.

I have the odyssey pc925 as per the Nizpro kit, have never had a problem with it and its been at least 2-3 years old now..

Yeah securely mounted and in a box I think. Unsealed require to be vented to outside the car as charging gases are explosive.

Might require engineers cert if drilling holes into the car?
