hey guys, got a 04 xr6t manual about 4 weeks ago. Stock at the moment but I'll slowly start upgrading. Starting with a billet short shifter in the next few weeks.

Well the day has FINALLY arrived. I fly down to Melbourne tomorrow morning and take delivery of my new xr6t! 2 days driving it back up to the Goldy... Can't wait

Stewie man I am so jealous! Ford has royally rooted me by selling the car I ordered to someone else... I have to wait till 4.00pm tommorow to find out if I can even get one. Here I was thinking I would be picking mine up on Monday too Oh well, have fun mate and enjoy your new car, at least someone's gunna have a good day lol

Well, the dealer just lost a sale. Ferkin' hopeless. Tried to talk me into an XR8 and then said that the black turbo they had there when I went in for a test drive (and wouldn't let me drive it cause it was apparently sold) is now up for sale. They have a guy that has signed up for it but is just having some problems with finance, so they offered it to me... I said how would that be fair, the car I just ordered was sold on me as if I would do that to some poor other bloke. Unscrupolous, unethical, incompetent. Got a few avenues to pursue, will update when I have some direction.

I moved from a 6Ltr Vz ss Thunder Ute to a Ba Xr6t ute. I miss the instand throttle repsonse, but it still doesnt beat the WOT in the Turbo.

Flash tune it and get it put on the dyno with a few mild mods and you will be laughing at commodores haha, boost comes on at 2k so its pretty hard not to drive it on boost
