I first found the site around 3-4 years ago. Been a ford fan all my life and since the XR6T was first launched it has been my dream to have my own. Since then my 2nd kid (my boy) was born. I have been waiting patiently till I sold brick on wheels (2002 Expensive Daewoo Vectra). Finally the missus allowed the arrival of our third child, the 2004 Lighting Silver BAII XR6T. If I die tomorrow I will be a happy man... I really am very happy with my purchase. I have own 2 cortinas (TE's) back in the day and I have always flown the ford flag. It is a great feeling to back behind the wheel of the blue oval. I am proud to be among you guys finally...

Welcome Grubby, If you get past some minor issues they are great cars. Been driving mine for two years and still loving it.

:bangcomputer:

What are some of the issues? and also can anyone tell me, apart from Six Speed Transmission, what (if any) cosmetic changes have been made between 2005 MK II XR6T and current model?

Think I was told about the site by Ford_Power, and I signed up around 12 months before I actually purchased my XR6T. Research I guess.. :)

I came across the forums via a link on wikipedia, I'm interested in doing some performance mods (namely the stage 1 kit from APS) and thought the site might prove very useful in helping me make a decision, anyway, see yas around :gaysex:

There are now better options available for the money. Have a look around there, is sh*tloads of info in this place BTW
