Hey Guys,

New XR6T owner here.

Just picked up my FG Mk2 Turbo ute and I'm stoked with it!

Its 2013 with 17K and in Vanish. Its been de-stickered and de-badged but as for mods that's it at the mo.

Cant believe how smooth this thing is and then how savage it is when provoked - love it!

Welcome along mate! Manual or auto? Got any options etc? Any plans for mods? Plenty of info around the traps here and some super knowledgeable people...just don't take things too seriously, appreciate the humour at times and you'll find this ain't such a bad place to have some digital hangs.

Yeah she's an auto as its for work, weird cause I've never driven them really always been a manual fanboy!

Have to say though that zf is pretty slick.

No lux pack as I couldn't bear leather in a wa summer lol!

Really want to upgrade audio though...thinking Audison processor and focal components? Have been lurking on hear for a couple of weeks and jeez it helped to make the buying decision easier!

Yeah nice. My current car is actually my first auto also, after being a manual man with all my other cars. I actually really like it for everyday driving, especially in traffic! ZF is a good box, modern self cog swappers go alright hey.

Love your taste in audio gear. Bear in mind there's many reports of audio hiss when upgrading these stereos unfortunately...but they're pretty average stock, so go for it I reckon! I had a full set of Audison LRX amps in one of my old setups...was rad!

Yeah I've heard a bit about the hiss issues and seen a few threads on the audio section so I'm gonna have to be careful I reckon. Not gonna put me off though.

Put 150 k's on the t today and it was such a pleasant drive compared to the triton ute I've just come out of! And yeah I agree wholeheartedly about the zf for around town so easy - god I'm getting old lol.
