Gday Folks,

My names Blocka,

Live in Penrith,

Just acquired an unmolested 2003 BA XR6T Auto in black, leather trim, premium sound 165,000kms.

In the first week since owning the new beast this is what has happened to it

- K&N Panel filter

- Full Paint correction detail and leather conditioning

- Twin 2.5" straight pipes in lieu of the Centre Muffler (not sure if I like the sound as yet) may opt for full catback,

- Custom plates ordered

The 2nd Week

- Lowered all round on SSSLs and Monroes

- 20" Staggered All Gloss Black MC Racing Wheels

- Data logged and tune adjusted

Coming months

- SuperPro front bush conversion

- XR8 bonnet

- Boot lip spoiler

- BF taillight lenses

I will post pics as the mods go on.

There was no mention of what the custom plates are going to be either.

if it is the member name "700 EZY", then I think people might take it in the wrong way.

Too Easy which means they gonna want to race ya.

700(HP) Easy which means you got more than 700Hp and will scare off most people.

Only the crazy 1000HP guys will want to race ya.

Better have the supporting mods to have plates like that, if that is what you ordered. :P

Oh and welcome to the forum. As mentioned by Pixy:

Pics or it didn't happen.

;)

Cheers Guys, dont worry there will be a flurry of pics to come lol.

As for the plates they are 700EZY, but not for the reasons most obvious,

I chose them as its my most over used saying "too easy mate".

From what I have read the BA engine isnt going to be putting out 700hp without splitting the block lol.

Hey guys, been lurking around a bit mainly car research as me and the missus were looking for a new car. I managed to twist her arm for us to get an xr6t. We were looking into VF SS' but they were more than we wanted to spend and im a tur bo man.

So we test drove a winter white FG MKII xr6t on the weekend at a dealer not to far away, has 19inch FPV rims on it and what looks like an aftermarket intake. Im still learning about these things so bare with me. Took it for a test drive and it drove really well, forgot how much torque these things had. Its only got the std spec interior and has done 50k kms and is a very clean and well looked after car.

Not sure how far I will go mod wise, maybe a tune and lower it and possibly different rims one day. But it will make the perfect daily driver for now!

Im a rotary man originally and also own a Series 8 RX7 and an rx3 sedan in the build.

Heres some dealer photos
