I bought an 2003 T about a month ago and did a search on google to see what info was out there on them.

New member here :)

I came across this forum by a link from a Ford website that I don't remember sorry. I have been reading alot of the posts here for months and decided to become a member this morning.

At present I own a 03 XR8 which I have had since new and have found it to be the best Falcon I have ever owned (its the 12 or 13th Falcon I have owned). I have not long ordered a BF XR6T ute which should be delivered in July.

Some of you will be wondering why the change from the V8, I love my XR8 but its time to try a turbo. I have 72,000 kms on the old girl and during that time I have driven her extremely hard for only 1 failure (split radiator).

Looking forward to July.

I am new to these forums just found them tonight whilst Googling for reviews on a car that I am in the process of purchasing... figured I "Might" get some unbiased and real information from people who own and can really break down to me the pros and cons of buying a new XR6T... (it will be my first new car purchase :kissmy: )

just the facts ma'am, just the facts. that's all I am after!

I actually used this site to compare the XRT to the SS.

Needless to say I'm a turbo man now.

If you compare complaints on this web site to sites that talk about LS1's inregards to running gear problems, XRT running gear problems are far less, for NOW....
