Hi guys and girls I have owned a Craig lowndes BF MKII for about 2 years now its a lightning strike silver turbo ute with now 73500 clicks, I haven't had much time for clubs or such not ill now. My car is factory original meaning no mods at all except a towbar.

I'm heading down to the all ford day at waurn ponds tommorow, was going to enter the ute but its just not clean enough and no time to do it, anyway I'm looking forward to learning new stuff here and seeing what others have done with their ford rides.

Cheers

hi all, name's Grant, I have an 06 BF mkII sedan in Velocity blue with ZF 6 speed. the mods so far are: black Avanti wheels 18x8 (wanna change to wider 18s with some tyre stretch), rolled/ lipped gaurds by me, fibreglass XR8 bonnet, Growler cold air intake, 60lbs injectors, full X-force stainless exhaust with 4 inch dump and 3 inch cat into twin 2.5 inch system, SCT flash tuner that is currently it tuned to 286kw at the wheels, 2 amps a 12 inch sub and tweeters. I've only had the car for 6 months and I love it. only plans I have for the future are for lower springs, wider better looking rims and an aftermarket front mount. I want to get it re-tuned soon to make over 300wkw and am also going to put it on the quarter in the next couple of months. hope to catch up with some of you on cruises and meets soon.

Hi New here from NZ.

Got an FG xr6 turbo, keen to know of low key mods to do to improve the enjoyment of the car and also love to know the maintenance tips anyone has to keep the car in top condition.

So far have read lots of awesome stuff so thanks to all for all the experience etc and wealth of knowledge here.

Hey guys,

Picked my silver XR6T LE up tonight after a very long (because of the excitement) couple of weeks waiting.

AWESOME machine :) Auto too which was a bit of a pleasant surprise (LE's were advertised as manual)

I was sort of wondering if the manual would be the best for me (city driving) - especially after hearing how good the auto's are.

All was going great. Got home, sat in the passenger seat reading the manual for about an hour and soaking in the new car smell.

Get out - I'm standing in a puddle of coolant.

WTF - check under car and yep. that's a heap of coolant.

75kms (picked it up with 26kms on the clock, so less than 50k's from the dealer) on the clock and something isn't quite right so to speak.

Waiting on the free roadside assist to come and take a look - too late to call the dealer now.

I did notice - I filled up (about 5kms from home) and everything was normal.

Stopped at the milkbar on the way home and the thermo fans kept going - the whole time I was in the shop (over a minute). They went for about 10 seconds once I pulled in at home too. I thought that a bit strange, but really have no idea if that's normal or not. Something maybe not screwed in on the pre-delivery that could be important I'm hoping.
