I did hear something about the diff bushes, I was hoping it was sorted in the later cars though.. Oh well. The line filter is a funny one.. Why do ford say service once a year or 15k if they have these sorts of issues? Ill be changing the oil/ filter every 7500 but the filter thing sounds like a pain in the ass.. Anyway probably not supposed to be using newbie thread for this sort of chit chat. Thanks again. They are supposed to change the line filter every 40k at Ford but I think it is better off removing altogether, I do normal oil changes every 10k and haven't had problems yet Search for servicing and Earls inline filter and that will tell you everything about it and might have a look at diff bushes while your there too there are some good options

For the klms I've put on it, it has been extremely reliable, but its time to upgrade woohoo!Have on order a December 2012 FG Mk11 Manual XR6 Turbo Limited Edition in Kinetic Blue, dealers finished pre delivery on Friday, so hoping they'll get it on a truck for me on Monday. Verrrry excited. Thanks for all the helpful info on here guys, and hope to go on one of my local cruises sometime :girlwink:

Quick question, need someone in the northern suburbs around Gawler/Elizabeth/Salisbury. can anyone recommend someone that is really switched on? I had a quick search and by the sounds of it most of the good tuners are down south...

I eventually will start to weaponize it but just now im enjoying the peace and quiet but I know that will change lol

I am attracted to the 4.0l turbo setup and how cheap power is to attain.. also with the australian retail prices of ford stuff you cant go wrong. makes SR20 and RB25 tuning look very futile in comparison... lolgoing to set up the bf as I would a JZX100/R34 so watch this space, especially where wheel fitment is concerned.. A car that is calm and quiet at low revs. My wife loves driving it and says she feel safer driving this than any other car she has driven. Mine is only averaging 11.6 on 98 too (according to the cars comp). Ant
