Hey there all im about to take possession of my first turbo car, I currently drive a holden (hides) ve sv6 ute the car has done me well for work and for the fun of cruising but I recently took a fg xr6 turbo for a spin at a local dealer (2009 model) I got in it and was immediately impressed with the interior

The first 5 minutes of the drive was crap (peak hour traffic friday afternoon) once we got around the corner it was pretty clear I mentioned to the dealer (wish there was somewhere I could give it a bit) "no ones around give it a squirt" and I did, F*&*king hell lol tingling in normal drive at about 60k it just launched chirped the wheels and

after some more talking and a few little squirts later I another clear stretch I click it over to performance mode (not active select just performance) and at about 65km the wheels just lit up (WOT at this stage) lol bit of a upgrade from the ve I was thinking.

Later that night put the ve on the market the next weekend was signing the papers awaiting the service and racv check hopefully I pick it up this week ) The colour is Mystic green

Hi guys another newb here.

I currently drive a 2010 Mazda MPS with a bunch of bolt ons and Tunehouse tuned making 215kwatw and 440NM.

Its a fun car but im after something that can do it easier for around the same price as I can sell for. So, ive been looking at the FG XR6T.

I like to go to the drags, but the MPS struggles greatly with getting off the line. So it runs mid 13's @ 108mph and is already breaking stuff.

I drove an FG yesterday with the 6sp auto and it was great for a stock car but id be hoping to get it over the 300kwatw mark and run 12s of some sort all day every day.

if anybody here in Sydney would be nice enough to take me for a spin around the block in their BF or FG that makes that kind of power I would be very appreciative, I would love to see how it feels as a street car before I make the leap.
