Just put my order in for a 2012 FG XR6 turbo, ordered the luxury pack so it'll be end of august before I receive it, took one for a test drive and fwooar so much better than my piece of sh*t 2003 BA......see ya's out and about.

Hi Guys

I've not long ago purchased a BF MK 2.5 (or so it's known as on here.)

I've never been a Falcon man, but after my mate bought the above mentioned car and I drove it back from Melbourne about 2 years ago,

I was very impressed with how well it drove, and the smooth power delivery. After driving a few Commodores, I found myself prefering the turbo engine in the falcon, and the 6 speed ZF gearbox.

My Brother is a mechanic at a Ford dealership, and I"m a sales rep for a autoparts store, so I figured the Falcon made sense, as parts and servicing would be cheap

So for the last year I've been asking my mate if he ever wanted to sell his Falcon, that I would buy it!

My brother has serviced it since he purchased it, and we put it on the hoist and gave it the once over (diff bushes, check codes and ect) so I knew it was in a1 condition.

So the day has come, and so far I'm a very proud new owner.

I think he means it's a post 06/06 build. I've never heard the term 'BF Mk2.5' used before either...

Sorry guys,

Yes I am refering to the mk2 upgraded bodykit and post 06/06 build.

A few guys around the traps told me saying a "2.5" meant you knew it had the upgraded kit and upgraded engine.

I shall just say mk2 update if that's better in future?
