Hi guys, new to the forum and also new to Fords in general...my name is Harry,im from the Westside of melbourne.

ive always said I was a ford man but somehow always owned Holden?? well finally got my hands on a FG F6 310 in stunning white over graphite, the best colour combo imo by far.lol

bought the car as a mistake while looking for a car for the family,(not a mistake, dont tell the misses).came across the car at auction and was listed as a "stolen recovered",what inspired me to buy it was the fact that it has no listing on any wovr or viv records..that to me is a bonus.the car as I later discovered has a few scratches and scuff marks but nothing too deep or unrepairable...these dogs that took the car removed every single badge off the car inc the steering wheel one??wtf? when taking the door badges and boot ones they scrathced the hell out of it? it was missing the rear spoiler(didnt want it anyway),icc unit and centre console,no build number or start button, took all the wheels including the spare..anyway sorry im rambling on but hope to find some usefull info here and meet some good people.

my plans are to throw a good tune in it as the wife will be driving aswell, full original white respray with graphite roof, some white dished/graphite centre 22" wheels,slammed,xr8 bulge & little lip spolier...

as ive been reading on the forum that it doesnt take much for these things to start punching out some good power hey??

Hello, been on here a few weeks now and haven't gotten around to doing this.

Finally bought a BF mark I auto 2 weeks ago and love it. Got it for a pretty good price but needs a couple of grand spent on it (gearbox service and a few other little things).

Rapid yellow and standard bar K&N filter at this stage, won't be going too crazy with power, maybe 250-300kwatw but not for at least 6-12 months (yearly bonus), plus it'll be the wife's daily soon as I have a company car.

I like the idea of an FPV kit but I've always been against tarting up to a higher model, although if I end up getting that sort of power it'll be quicker anyway. The standard front rear and sides have had a few scrapes anyway. Was thinking Typhoon but GT is looking awesome at the moment (especially love them in the yellow) with charcoal accents including lower stripes and wheels, but see how we go. Early days yet.

Already picked up heaps of tips that'll save me heaps (including probably about $400 on gearbox fluid alone).

Not much in the way of resources around Bundaberg, but any recommendations would be appreciated.

Cheers

Welcome everyone, don't forget to donate! The info on this site is crazy and money you'll save is even better from all the helpful knowledge :)

Wow EFSIX how much of a car did you end up paying for? Lol. Sounds like you paid for a shell, main panels, motor and drive line lol. Got any pics of the ute mate? Throw them up :spoton:

On the yellow t, you'll find genuine bars are ridiculously overpriced. I say just keep it the stock look with plenty of power underneath. Sleeper look  lowered a bit on some nice rims, nice.

Good luck checking out the car and taking it on a test drive mate!

Hi all, just upgraded from a bfxr6 NA to my 2009 fgxr6 turbo. The bf was getting a bit tired, and as soon as I had the money went out and bought it and left with it that day. After a fought night of driving all I can say is holy sh*t it moves. Looking forward to modding it now

Hey guys,

Its been a while since I've been on here but since selling my bf2 xr6t I've just felt incomplete, so I've managed to pick up an ex cop fg xr6 t for the right price, now let the mods begin  .
