Well, they're 45-50 drive away on car sales without the lux pack or any bargaining. I wondered whether you could still get the XR+Lux pack for less than 50.

In that case, do you think it would be feasible to get an FG MkII G6ET for under $50K drive away? I know demos are cheaper but there's not too many MkII demos floating round at the moment.

if your going to spend that much might as well go back to fg mk1 and go with an fpv lol

carsales is high price from dealers if u ask me, go to a dealer in person and see what numbers they can crunch for u. only one dealer id go to down this way and its not rex gorell in geelong where I live. farking rip off. westpoint ford werribee/hoppers crossing is the place to go

Yeah, it'll be my 21st present to myself and my birthday's not for 6 months so I can wait for a couple of months. I've wanted one for almost 18 months, lol, so it's just waiting out those last few months...

Lol, yeah, it ain't bad for my age. I've been saving for 'a car' even when I was working in school when I was 15 but it's only more recently I've decided definitely what I want. Well, between a couple of models at least. So it's not like I started with $0 at 18, I had money set aside already. Living at home obviously helps as well.

I'm tossing up between them cause no more than $50K is what I want to spend in April/May (May or even June is probs better for FY deals). I'd rather not go to 60 or 65 cause id need a large loan then so it would definitely be a MkI F6. Mum's not, uh, pleased as it is, haha. New car + Lux variant or really sporty (they both are in her books) + Turbo = bad idea

lmao I know exactly what u mean hahaha except the old girl doesnt like me getting a turbo after losing my licence for 9 of the last 10 months lol. but ah well, gotta live it up somehow! haha. so finally wen I get licence back in 10 days (whos counting?? lmao) im finally looking at getting my first turbo. a year later than originally planned but oh well. least ill have all my points back wen I get licence haha. looking at getting a good bf2 xr6t but theyre asking too much even with fg2 out now..over 20k.. going to mines in a couple months so the car will be more for a bit of fun wen im back from the mines each time rather than a work car etc :) straight up modding once ive been working mines for a bit :spoton:

I had money before I was 18 but decided to throw into the share market. bought more since n thinking of getting more again. long term not short term money makers unfortunately :P but honestly u pay over $50k your silly. itll pay to go to a dealer n get quotes. not just ones in your city..drive an hr away n see what they offer. see what they can throw in on top as well etc. all else fails just sit n wait for a ripper deal on an fg1 xr6t, low kms, decent cond etc :spoton: keep us posted how u go
