Any recommendations on which year/model I should start looking for & what not to buy, Cheers Dan Edited 15/12/11 02:04 PM by danmK Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/792-new-members-thread/page/200/#findComment-1169581 Share on other sites

Alot of cheap BA's around but you've gotta keep in mind they are coming up on being a 10 year old car.. Personally I'd recommend BF Mk II or FG if the budget allows.. Or FG.. Depends what you want out of it mate.. I'm a big fan of the FG interior.. and the BF looks.. However age of the car was my big deciding factor.. I don't like owning cars over 5 years old.. Personal quirk..Each one is a different animal.. For that money though you could also consider a BF MKII Typhoon.. Again a completely different car.. Least you can also afford to be picky.. Look at many and choose the best for the dollars.. Pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic or whatever automobile club in your area (RACV/Q or equivalent) is also a great idea.. I see FG's around at the same price as the BF's were last year now.
