Welcome to the forum. This is an excellent place to start, including a link to "First Mods":

hey all,

finally got myself a T.. wanted one since they first came out!

5 speed BA 03 ute with 120k

I love it, already reading on how to make it better ;) I think territory front brakes will be the first stop (sorry bad pun) then the usual exhaust, intake and tune. And yes I know I have the weak box :) I expect the above mods will do me as this is a work car so heres to hoping the box holds up :)

Shudder...

Sorry mate I shudder ever time I see someone buy a 5 speed..

Your first stop will be about 3k+ for a new 6 speed gearbox and clutch because your current one is absolute rubbish, and pretty much wont handle any more power.

I went down that road like yourself, bought the car was happy as a pig in sh*t until I found out on here how bad the 5 speeds really are and it sucks, but at least the 6 speed is alot cheaper now then when I did it.

Save for one of them and a clutch and don't look back, oh and Welcome to the forum.
