I live in canberra. the car already had a K/n filter on it.. and so far have just taken the rear muffler out and replaced it with a hog dog sounds wicked and goes good.. :) cant wait to get started on modding it. :)

G'day,

About to take delivery of my 2009 XR6T ute (octane) spinning 19 inch factory FPV rims wrapped in pirelli rubber. Only done 13000km's, will probably give the mods a miss for a while as it is still under warranty. Looking at fitting a F6 style front bar as they do look harder than the standard. Anyone know the best place to find one? Can find them for around $550-600 raw (ebay) then add priming, painting and fitting - anybody else done this?

Cheers to the bloke(s) who set this site up, looks like a good source of info

Been driving imports for years now and just got a bog stock 2004 xr6 turbo.

Excited to see how the Xr stacks up agaisnt the skyline. Also quite happy to be able to carry passengers over 4 foot tall in the back seat.

this forum has answered my questions already, Only question now is which workshop to use,

Anyone used BPR (bullet proof perfornamce) in geelong

Welcome mate, the stock XRT will destroy stock skylines in every way. Throw a few bob at it and it will be a very respectable streeter quite capable of handling it'self when push comes to shove.

I assume your from Geelong? Not sure of any tuners down there but we have two of the best in the bizz up here in the surburbs. Pitlane Performance and Horse Power Factory, both have there own forum on here so jump on and have a look at there work, well worth the drive.
