Yeah true that Mr TonyV lol. I convinced myself to get the XR6T over the XR8 simply based on the fact that the T is more easily modified. That and the 8 kinda felt like an overweight slug in comparison ... Can't wait to bring it home on Saturday but! Acid rush, with yellow and black interior!

Hey Guys and Girls,

I just took delivery of my XR50 Turbo in Winter White and thoiught I would say hi.

This is my Second Turbo Falcon after a break to dabble in the Jap scene.

Loving being back in a comfortable sports sedan since the local council is having a little difficulty keeping the roads in check. (They actually circle the potholes in white paint rather than fix them, I'm sadly not kidding)

Its amazing how much the FG has improved over the BA MKII. Never thought I would buy an auto but the ZF doesn't have the charateristics that would make manual the easy decision. So far I'm stoked, can't wait till Christmas to take her on a long trip.

Now I just need a name for her. If I brought a G6ET I could call her Ethel or Gertrude (just joking I think the G6ET is a great car aswell, if it had an LSD I would be all over it) got any ideas on a name let me know.

Hi there I'm completely new. I have just upgraded from a 95 ef XR6 to a 03 XR6 turbo. This site looks great. Also I'm after any advice on how to get a nice sounding bov set up. Cheers.

HERE'S how to vent the stock bov mate, otherwise throw in a turbosmart kompact or similar but if you want a loud dose you will need more boost.

Welcome to the forum mate, shame it's not an XRT but still good. You will probably notice a big difference over the XR8, lol.

I had a look at the XRT but I prefer the sleeper look over sporty. First thing to do for me is take off the turbo badging (maybe have some custom guard badges made up). It's great seeing a crying SS driver in my rear vision mirror after he realized he just got ripped by a family sedan. Lol

Lol, love the way you think. Could get the normal G6E badges on the front quarters then loose the boot badges. Add a KAAZ diff 350+kw and you would be laughin.

Hi all,

Just wanted to say hi.

I am reasonably new to these forums, I own a 2006 BF XR6 Turbo. Its black with leather/suede, Premium sound, Sunroof, etc.

So far I have added a K&N panel filter and an 8PSI generic tune, so far with no issues and it has made a big difference in power compared to the standard tune.
