I had an R33 gtst type m at one stage, bloody quick cars! I reckon the barra 240 would give the rb26 a run for its money any day.

On my second XR6 turbo now, had a BA turbo and before that I had quick jap cars. Mazda Familia, toyota starlet GT, etc.

The falcon turbo are heavy but all so good...

It's hard to go past to xr6 turbo.

G'Day, never been on any type of forum before........always work'n, rarely play'n.......

Anyway picked up a new FG XR6T auto a few weeks ago after trading my VZ SV6....after drive'n heaps of VE SV6 hire cars (new) I quickly came to the conclusion I would not purchase one of these vehicles, as my VZ was overall a far superior car to drive.

Time to update and Expensive Daewoo dealers wouldn't even let me test drive without jump'n through all the hoops , come in FORD.

Open arms and willing to help where ever I went, FG is an awsome car to drive. :bravo:

Recently a visit to QLD and Avis gave me a Expensive Daewoo Late model camira to drive, packed the family drove to GC, next morning walked down the road to Avis and swapped it out for an FG XR6, absolutely no comparison to the Holden, the FG is head and shoulders above the Expensive Daewoo no doubt about it.

A lot of clients give me heaps for buying the FORD but then they have never driven one so they have no idea :nuts2: , any way FORD have it over the Expensive Daewoo this time, top car, even the missus and kids love it....especially the grunt, now the missus wants one for herself.....help.....

Hi All,

Ordered my FG XR6T in Sensation yesterday. Will be arriving in two weeks. The dealer was fantastic. Loaned me an exact same car for over a day before I made the decision.

Extras ordered: Luxury Pack and Tech Pack

I was blown away with the pricing from the 'After Market or Accessory consultant'. Quoted over $3400 for alarm, window tint, SMART Repair membership, front/rear parking sensors...Ridiculous. :innocent:

Decided I would only purchase the SMART Repair membership and get everything else elsewhere at much, much cheaper prices than the Dealer.

Anyway...can't wait. Having a similar car for a day was a hoot !!
