el2bfturbo Member 21 Member For: 16y 24d Posted 25/11/08 07:07 AM Share Posted 25/11/08 07:07 AM Hi All,Been a Ford boy since my first car and now traded on up to a BFII XR6T with ZF box (from the name you can probably guess it was an EL lol). Completely stock except for the token Typhoon 2nd CAI and KnN filter. My car was an ex chaser from out bush and according to the coppers out there (yeh I called the station before buying it ) they treated it well and apologised for their steep driveway (front and rear bars bit scratched underneath) other then that it had been serviced every 7-10k. I've been a quiet lurker using all info on these threads to plan how to spend my paycheck and how to unleash my beast and look forward to a happy future behind the wheel of a top car. By squealing, I mean ALL the time. I have contacted Ford and they have said nothing can be done about it. All of the threads I have found on here apply to pre '04 models.Does anyone have an idea of what can be done?I'm gonna try and replace the whole shebang under new car warranty soon if all else fails.....I'm really pissed off. Thanks! Hey 'Sir Henry'By "squealing ALL the time" do you mean constantly or only when you apply the brakes? Edited 26/11/08 08:19 AM by tab

Ford have told me it's a problem which can't be rectified. I don't have any mechanical expertise to do anything myself, so any ideas would be appreciated. I drive 1200kms per week.Cheers! I have been overseas for the last 10 years at malta and as soon as I got back I fell in love with the colour and shape of this car so I purchased it. not knowing much about ford is the reason for joining this club(if that's what u want to call it) I originate here in sydney and im glad to be back. so im hoping if I need a hand I can come to use about it. I bought this car about 3 weeks ago it has 60000km on the clock and is upgraded with the leather interior and pure sound. I cant wait 4 a cruise to see all your rides, so I btter stop talkin and hope to be rolling with u all soon thanks dave
