Im 24 (in a week or so) and am a rating 1 with AAMI and the premium is about 2300 untill 25 when it drops to $1200 or soI think I could handle the large insurance for a nice powerful car :DAll I have to do now is to work out finances :(Mate that's rubbish.. Im rating one with Shannons, started with them when I was 23 (now 24) and I paid $1500 last year, full comp, with a few mods listed (rims, stereo, lowered, cooler etc..) This year was a bit cheaper.. I'd give them a ring for a quote. AAMI dont like mods too.. Edited 09/10/08 08:44 AM by MiKa

I'm up in QLD so I dunno if it varies between states or what.

I have spent way too much time on this site already. Bought a BF turbo a few months back and will have to replace the rear tyres soon! I seam to have traction issues. I am enjoying my car and this is my first Ford after a long association with Holden’s nearly 20 years. Love the turbo power, great site very informative and a good read. - Cheers. I would have thought RACQ would've given me a better deal, considering I've been with them since I first got my licence, but the best they could offer was about$1200 and that was with a discount. So it pays to shop around.

I have the T insured through Justcars for $918 a year parked on the street in the middle of Hobart (only have the one rented garage for the older more expensive falcon ) but the excess for the T is $2500!!! I Phoned them and asked why so much and they told me that this is the case for anyone under the age of, wait for it..........50!!!!!! I couldnt believe it, so just hoping if anything happens to the T ist worth more that 2.5K
