Guest rev210 Guests Posted 07/05/04 04:55 AM Share Posted 07/05/04 04:55 AM Hi there,Have been looking at the XR6 turbo as my new 'work car' and putting the trusty old GTR into the hobby shed to be made the weapon it has always wanted to be . Getting info on modifications to the XR6 etc. should be alot easier with this forum to look through. Looks to have some good content and people on it already. Guest ravenvtsuper6 Guests Posted 03/08/04 01:53 AM Share Posted 03/08/04 01:53 AM Well I came looking for info on the XR6T and there is plenty in here. If I was ever to 'change camps' I reckon I would jump into an XR6T. They are certainly not to be taken lightly. Since my interest in 'performance' cars has been rekindled lately I have lost most of the Expensive Daewoo vs Ford attitude from my younger days. I have a broader appreciation for true Aussie performance cars whether they be Late model camira or Falcon. A mate of mine has just recently purchased a XR6T so we will have some friendly rivalry I'm sure!! Have a look at my SC VT too
Guest Paulxr6 Guests Posted 19/08/04 11:09 AM Share Posted 19/08/04 11:09 AM met a member at Exhibition Centre who gave me a card with the web details. We were there for a market research exercise looking at interior and exterior mock ups of what could only be the next generation Falcons - the base models weren't that flash but the 2 XR deisigns they showed looked sensational! It's amazing what a difference a body kit makes.Would like to catch up with the guy who gace me the card at the carpark pay booth - he drove a blue XR 8 I think - drop me a line if this rings a bell
Guest Lukkyphil Guests Posted 27/08/04 12:47 AM Share Posted 27/08/04 12:47 AM Found the site through Google.I have a WRX which is currently about to be sold. My XR6T is getting ordered next month, so I get a series 2. The T will be getting the Performance Brakes and the XR Luxury Interior Pack with an Auto tranny, in Vibe.
